about

"Lay It On The Line feat. Zoe Gilby" is the second single to be extracted from NICK PRIDE & THE PIMPTONES' critically acclaimed debut album "Midnight Feast Of Jazz" out now on CD/Digital and LIMITED EDITION vinyl LP in all the best stores. Featuring scorching vocals by UK jazz singer Zoe Gilby over the soul-jazz groove provided by the band, "Lay It On The Line" was protagonist of the Pimptones Remix Contest that resulted in a tie between 2 great tracks by San Diego producer Danny Massure and UK duo James Beige.

RK therefore decided to create the "Lay It On The Line EP", available via Digital Download exclusively here at the RK webshop, containing the original album version of "Lay It On The Line" alongside latin-funk inspired "Lay It On The Line (Danny Massure rmx)" and James Beige's "Lay It On The Line (James Beige blame it on the bossa rmx)". And as a special treat you get 3 for the price of 2!
